Introduction
Installation
Getting Cardigan installed is pretty straightforward.
App installation
Cardigan can be installed into your Shopify store just like any other Shopify App.
The easiest way to get started is by following this link and entering your Shopify store domain, for example mystore.myshopify.com.
Terms and billing
Before you can begin using Cardigan, you'll be asked to accept Cardigan's terms of service and privacy policy, and to review your billing schedule.
The screen shows the amount you'll be billed and how often - either every 30 days or annually - along with the length of any free trial that applies to your account. Once you've accepted, Shopify will ask you to approve the recurring charge.
Billing is handled through Shopify, so the charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice rather than being billed separately.
Next steps
Once installation is complete, you'll land on the Cardigan dashboard.
Before Cardigan can do anything useful, you'll need to set up a profile telling it which gift card provider to connect to and how - see Profiles.
If you'd like to start exploring straight away without waiting on credentials from your provider, you can create a profile using the built-in Bogus test provider.
